This non-toxic wax emulsion "resists" application of glaze, slip and underglaze - when applied on greenware or bisque as a method of decoration. Use it to achieve crisp lines or decorative patterns between bare clay and applied colour.

Wax Resist now has a colouring agent to make it easier to see during application. The colour will burn off during firing.

Available in 472ml or 3.78ml jars.

Application Notes

Apply AMACO Wax Resist to greenware or bisque to areas you want to be 'bare' clay. Allow to dry before applying glaze, slip or underglaze over the top.
