Carapils Dextrine Malt

Carapils is unique in that it adds body, foam retention, and stability, without affecting the flavor or smell. Due to the non-fermentables in this malt, it is great for balancing body and taste of dark colored beers. However, it can be used to elevate beers of any kind. This malt is glassy, like caramel malts, without the taste or color. This malt has no enzymes, so it can be steeped in hot water or mashed.
