Oru is known for it's innovative, origami-like portable folding kayaks. Developed over 10 years and made of durable custom-extruded corrugated OruPlast, these kayaks are light and super packable. OruPlast is a 5 mm double-layered polypropylene with a 10-year UV treatment that is puncture and abrasion resistant and built to be folded up tens of thousands of times.
The Bay ST is one of Oru's sportiest closed cockpit kayaks and built for performance. It can handle a variety of water types and holds enough gear for short overnight trips. Assembly takes about 10 minutes and the kayak is suitable for new and experienced paddlers. Add a carrying pack to make it easier to transport, or float bags for extra flotation (sold separately).
