STEEL TOE
Steel Toe Safety Toe Cap meets ASTM F2413-18 I/75 C/75 Standards to protect the user from injury as a result of falling and/or rolling objects.

PUNCTURE RESISTANT
Puncture Resistant Midsole meets the F2413-18 PR Standard to prevent sharp objects from penetrating the sole of the shoe. This Puncture Resistant Midsole is built into the shoe and is not removable. It should not be confused with a “steel shank” which is only designed to add extra support to the arch area of the shoe/boot.

ELECTRICAL HAZARD
Soling material meets ASTM F2413-18 EH Standards to provide a barrier to protect the wearer from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. The type of Safety Toe Cap Material used in the footwear does not affect the EH rating.

WATERPROOF
Waterproof footwear is constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. The most common waterproofing technique is the use of a lightweight, breathable membrane built right into the liner of the shoe or boot.

SLIP RESISTANT
Shoes and Boots with Slip Resistant Soles help to reduce slip related injuries on wet, oily and/or greasy floors. No shoe is slip proof and good judgment and common sense should still be exercised when wearing slip-resistant footwear in slippery environments.
